An interesting choice of zone as the thick concrete walls simultaneously offer soundproofing, area boundary and hazard.
The zone was cleared and secured by the usual staff and the teams allowed entrance.

Wasteland Wanderers obviously taking this game very seriously as their equipment has improved dramatically since their disasterous match against the Barbedwire Brotherhood. Jil and Chak seemingly ransacked the same martial arts store as the two twin weapon Claws uniforms match perfectly.

The Junkyard Dogs, as usual, sport their usual ragtag of padding and motley weaponry - not looking at all like the potential league toppers they are - that is, until Chel empties a pack and starts strapping on police issue tactical riot armour. Someone obviously got lucky and took down the previous owner.

With pillars set up, the Dogs, as the away team, took possession and formed into a standard invert crescent with the Tin Man in the apex whilst the Wanderers spread slightly with their two staff wielding Claws in the centre.
Anura of the Dogs made the first move with Chel flanking her, blocking a headslash for her that allows her to sweep the leg of Kadda and jam her tonfa into Kaddas knee as she drops. Chel takes a heavy hit on his shoulder as he recovers balance, but the riot armour proves its worth as he turns and ripostes with a sweep of his baton into his opponents throat.

With two opponents temporarily down, Anura and Chel sweep left around Kadda and Chak to envelop the remaining three. Raven has weathered a savage offence by Jil, blocking staff strikes with her twin bokken, but Hilt is down as Incher strikes wide and follows through into Hilts jaw.

Vander sees a gap in the Wanderers defence as they spread to try to defend their fallen comrades and sprints forward, dummying a throw to Chel he instead throws it full force into Jils face, catching it on the rebound and powering through, taking a blow from Incher as he passes and stumbles into Glock. Glock kicks Vanders legs out, sending him crashing to the floor, but is taken out by Anura and Chell who pincer and drop him.

Now Vander scrambles up and runs to the Wastelands pillar and slots the can home as Anura and Chel form a rear defence against any new offence.
